Don't freak out...the big Halloween post will be tomorrow (we still have some trick or treating to do)!
In the meantime something else!

Weekend Highlights!!
Lisa got three clips of Thomas at Saturdays game.
Here is the first one...
Thomas had a little brain fart and well you will see.
After that little mishap...he got back on track and redeemed himself with this...
And...
Last but not least...he scored!!

Our Favorite Day Of The Week...
Is Saturday of course!!
Putting this flag football team together is one of the best ideas our group of friends has come up with. I look forward to Saturday mornings just as much as I look forward to Sunday mornings now.
It's going to be sad when the season ends in three weeks.
I am not quite sure that we won today, but the boys did score 4 or 5 TD's. Thomas is very motivated by the milkshake he gets after the game if he scores, so he did. He might have scored two had he not taken off in the wrong direction his first carry. It did give us all a good laugh though.

WANTED....
A nanny for this one...

She looks cute, but getting anything done outside of the house is virtually impossible with her. She is unhappy if she wants something and I won't buy it for her. If she doesn't feel like walking she will just sit down in the middle of well frankly anywhere. Bribery does not work and I am not kidding with this one...I have offered her the world at times and if she isn't having it then that is that. I can sometimes manage to get one stop done with her, but if I even attempt a second stop I can instantly feel her mood change.
If there is anyone interested please let me know??
Side note....you might be wondering why I don't just run my errands while she is in school. Well, had I known it was going to be this hard I would have enrolled her in afternoon class. Nothing is open in the morning while she is in school.

Consumed by the SPOOK!!
I think you (whomever you are out there reading this) will agree with me that time is flying by. In a little over a week the calender in my kitchen will say November on it. I am slightly filled with anxiety just thinking about it. I have bought a grand total of 4 Christmas presents so far.
Laugh all you want....
But generally I like to be well on my way come November in regards to my Christmas shopping. This year though...I decided that I was finally going to have the Halloween party that I have always wanted too. It has consumed most of my time lately although to be fair it has consumed even more time of my wonderful moms. I am not quite sure if I even would have followed through if it wasn't for her.
But now a week before Halloween and The Moore house is definitely in the Holiday Spirit!!
Just a few of the decorations...I will save all the pics for the party post!! We a some outdoor decorations to finish, but the inside is pretty much done.
The last week will be devoted to helping with both of the kids' Halloween class parties, going on a field trip with Thomas' class to the pumpkin patch and getting all of the food done for my party. It should be another busy week.
And thanks to Pinterest....I have a long list of festive food planned.

Fall Break...Crafts...Swimming...AND PINTEREST!!
Monday was Day 1 of a two week fall break from school in our house. I know I know...exciting for this SAHM. I kid...I kid!!
Thankfully the weather forecast is looking pretty good...I was a little afraid over the weekend thinking if it is 100 for the next two weeks someone might be cracking open a bottle of wine.
No worries...the weather gods are helping me stay sober. I predict quite a few park visits in the next two weeks.
Monday the kids painted mini pumpkins and they were super excited.
$5.00 for 8 mini pumpkins and $2.00 for 2 paint kits.....
Good for almost an hours worth of good behavior.
Since it was only about 1:30...and there was still A LOT of day left...
I did what I do most of the time when I am bored and they are starting to drive me nuts...I went to my moms.
And since it was the last day of the hot weather (hopefully for good) I took the kids for what might be the last swim of the year. They swam...I watched!
Yesterday we stayed pretty low key and by low key I mean we only left the house to take Taylor to dance class. If it wasn't for that there was a good chance I wouldn't have taken a shower. Oh how I long for a day that I have absolutely no reason to leave the house and can stay in my sweats all day. It is the little things that this mommy dreams of.
Thanks to the drug that is PINTEREST...I tried a new hairdo on Taylor though.
And she wore a new pair of leg warmers today!!
2 days of break down....quite a few more to go!!

Tommy "Touchdown" Moore
For the record Thomas is completely against this nickname, but Aunt KiKi is relentless and is determined to make it stick.

It's A.....
If you asked Taylor she would have told you she wanted a sister!!
If you asked Thomas...a brother!!
But if you asked Tom or I??
A HAPPY HEALTHY BABY!!
Another blog I stumbled upon did this (in a way bigger way, I think with a cake) but I loved the idea. I had the doctor seal the results in an envelope and I took the envelope to the bakery at my old store.
I asked the cake decorator to fill two cupcakes with icing that was either blue or pink depending on what the envelope said.
Thank you Toni for two very cute and NON-Revealing cupcakes.
The kids were so excited to find out (or eat a cupcake before dinner) who knows!
I told them to both take a huge bite so we would be able to see what color icing was inside.
The look on Thomas' face was priceless, but the picture unfortunately was of the icing so you will just have to imagine.
Can you see what color it is??
PINK!! A very light shade of pink, but pink nevertheless!!
We are expecting a baby girl and although it took a little convincing of Thomas...everyone is very excited.
Name TBD...for now she will still be called Little Ick!!

Life With These Two
As if my life with these two munchkins isn't great enough...I am half way to having one more. Thomas and Taylor can drive me crazy better than anyone, but make up for it 100 times over with the way they make me laugh. THAT is what I look forward to the most about having another baby. Kids give you a whole different perspective on life and for that I am VERY grateful.

Are You Ready For Some Football?
Today was Thomas' first flag football game. I can not begin to tell you how excited he was.
And...
This little play kept him fueled the entire game.
It's going to be a great season.

We Travel For Parties!!
Well...
We travel for some parties. Last week we (as in Tom, the kids, my parents, my sis and I) flew to Portland to celebrate my Aunt and Uncle's 50th wedding anniversary. Staying married for 25 years seems pretty impressive now days, but 50?? 50 is amazing! I actually think I know one other couple that will make it to 50, but they deserve a post all of their own...wink wink mom and dad!
Anyway...here is the happy couple getting the night started!!
It really was a great party and so good to see everyone.
A few more pics from our night...
My sis and I had a little "Mustache" fun before the party. I really could have gone for a drink right about then, but I guess I can wait another 5 more months!!
Thomas and Taylor danced the night away and the rest of us laughed the night away (with a little dancing too).
And as if the evening wasn't awesome enough...
My Uncle Jim...who is a young 70 something...played a few sets with the band. I really wish I had a youtube video of him to share. He is amazing and brought the party to their feet more than once.
