If I wasn't positive how much Tatum is growing up, it only took a bike to remind me. My parents got her a new one for her birthday and when I told my mom what size to get I was a little nervous it would be TOO big!
Nope...just right!
Of course she had to take it for a little spin around the house before school!!!
After school she got to test it out outside!!
Seriously...such a cheeseball!
This fabulous weather is perfect bike riding weather!!

4 is a big deal!
I seriously cannot believe my baby just turned 4. I can happily say I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. But I definitely had no idea the little girl she would become. Her personality is off the charts if you haven't experienced it firsthand. She is smart and sassy and most of the time she keeps up with her brother and sister just fine.
Anyhoo...
I threw a big party for her first birthday, but we stayed pretty low-key for her 2nd and 3rd birthday. I decided that 4 was the perfect age to have a party where she could invite all of her little friends. I think all in all it was a huge success...chaotic definitely, but a total success!
We (and be we I really mean me and my guidance) chose to have an ART PARTY!! We were rainbows all the way!! I bought cute little canvas' for the kids to paint. So thankful that at the age of 4 parents hang around for the party because as you can see I REALLY needed their help.
The birthday girl!!
If you know me at all, you know that it is ALL about the details. Rainbow fruit plate...rainbow veggie plate...colorful candy!!
Even RAINBOW jello...yes I poured each color myself...let it set and the end result was so cute and SOOOO YUMMY!
And as if getting to paint wasn't enough...we hired a face painter also!!! SO WORTH IT!!!
Love her to pieces!!
The older girls got in on the fun too!!
Tatum and all of her little friends!!! Good luck getting 3 and 4 year olds to all look at the camera at the same time.
Even when you tell them to make funny faces...still can't do it!
What would ANY party be without cookies from Nana?! Delicious and BEAUTIFUL as always!!
Details...I made this banner with my Silhouette Cameo!
And thanks to the Lowe's paint counter...I made these little pockets to hold the paint brushes at each kids chair!!
She told me over and over how much fun she had and based on how quickly she fell asleep...I believe her!!

I was reading some posts on Facebook recently and one of them that has been going around is asking you kids without ANY prompting these questions...

Did You Hear
If you have talked to Tatum since Christmas you probably heard the news, but in case you haven't...
She got a tablet for Christmas!!
Yup...a 3 year old with her very own tablet (thanks to her Nana and Papa Dodd)! She pretty much announces it to every person that walks through our door...and to anyone that I may happen to be on the phone with. I have to limit the amount of time she is on it because if it were up to her...the only time she wouldn't be on it was when it was charging! Thanks to her very LARGE imagination...she thinks she can text and FaceTime people on it (SHE CAN NOT)! She has however...figured out how to play Prime Music and search YouTube...I have to constantly remind her she needs to be using the educational kids part of the tablet. Apparently PBS can get a little boring.
And as you can see... she rarely lets it out of her sight!

My Little Defender
When it was time to register Taylor for soccer this season...Tatum said she wanted to play too. I was a little unsure that she would ACTUALLY play once we got there, but she surprised me and jumped right in. And she LOVES it!! I'm not sure there is anything funnier than a bunch of 3 year olds playing soccer. And since it might not be that easy to imagine it, I have the pictures to prove it.
We couldn't be more proud of her getting out there and playing her heart out...even if they have only won one game (I think)!
A little before game stretch!!
I mean how cute is she?!
Nope...not gonna let this bigger girl get in her way!
Just taking a little break!
Dude...we are on the same team!!
Getting a little practice in before her second game!!
This might be the funniest picture I have ever accidentally taken! Look closely at her face...she is definitely closing her eyes!
